Have you read the menu? You don't need to hold option and set to enter the wave mode. The short/long pulse mode is the wave mode. If you hold option and set it'll auto tune the wave for you if you don't want to play around with the speed/frequency to do it yourself.

I think you've got too much flow in this video. The object isn't to give your fish whiplash with an undersea tsunami. I see this so much. Many people are using way too much water flow in small reef tanks. It's not necessary. All you do is stress your fish needlessly.

+Jeff Puha ...how then do most marine fish in their natural environment cope with heavy seas or tidal surges etc ??...Increased flow or wave action won't 'stress' many marine species for the most part.

I didn't leave the flow this strong for the life of the tank, I did this to show the capabilities of the MP10 in a 29g tank.

@ThePsywarrior I'm glad I could help out. It was a little tricky at first for me, that's why I posted this vid. And for what it's worth, I ended up using reef crest mode as it seems to stimulate my tank inhabitants so much more.
