Ignore the fish police! Awesome Tank dude! FYI to the fish police, as long as you are running the proper stuff, you can heavily stock a tank. ChemiPure Elite, & Purigen in proper amounts will buffer the tank to allow for overstocking.

Seriously? He has 7 larger fish and a good number of smaller fish. How is that overstocking the system? Everything SEEMs to thrive in that tank, plus, for the shear volume of water, it's plenty.

I love it. I don't think its overstocked when you take into account a 50 gal sump. Do you keep macro algae or mangroves somewhere? I have had great success getting rid of green hair.I would use my toothbrush on my rocks and equipment. also, copapods(sp) may help?

@animalmastermtd my guess is about 4-6,000 dollars just to start out with (one sump/refugium) with frags of corals, not entire colonies, small fish and basic lighting. i have a 57g and 29g reef and im about 5,000 into both of them together. if you can find a local forum or even craigslist, you can find amazing deals on equipment. i just found a 200g reef ready tank/stand for 200 dollars. good luck!! its a LOT of fun!
