nothing good in this test
it is normal that it burns darker or lighter, as the camera can not focus according to the color of the color.
I have hqi + T5 bright and clear lights

The music is terrible! LOL!!!
This video doesn't show anything we need to see in regard the comparison of bulbs.
The camera wasn't adjusted to capture the real deal of comparison.

Any help on leds....... i have my led on the top of my tank due to the canopy being only 6 or less inches high i cant hang it on the canopy. The 60 degree lense is focusing the to close of a beam of light. Its 24" to the sand bed. The lights give of enough light should i take the optics off. If the lights are brite enough with out them it should still be ok for corals. All of 3 watt leds. Any input?

+ObamaSmellsBad Yeah actually, I just want the LED company to get a little more credit than to be called a no-name. Lotta good lights coming from China these days. I'd add that this video, was really well made. I wonder what color temps were used in the LED. T5/LED looks the best but can't beat MH for the best sun-simulation.

Very cool video, but why would you use Aquamedic bulbs tho??? Does any serious hobbyist actually use these? KZ, ATI, Geissman FTW, imo.

Im running 5-100w led chips on my 225 reef tank. I started off with 3- 60/40 combo chips but found it to be too blue so I added 2- 6500k 100w led chips and it looks perfect imo. All of the led / power supply sets come from Ebay for approx $25 a set. I made a custom 4' long fan cooled heat sink from a 4'x4' sheet of .06" aluminum using a metal brake, heat sink compund and pop rivets. All together I spent about $200 and have a awesome 500w led light that pumps out more light than my old 3 x 400w MH and consumes less than half the power.

I'm running 4X T5 on my 36 bow and have found a great bulb mixture for coral color. But I'm planning on a 240 gallon tank and am thinking of a led fixture that gradually changes it's spectrum throughout the day to simulate the cycle of the sun.
