Did you or anyone find where to get a replacement/spare battery for longer run time, or running while recharging the battery?
How is the battery charged, from 110V, or 12V/car? How long to recharge from mostly used up (not totally dead, dead)?

I have a question, though. The guy in the red and yellow kayak near shore - was he fishing? If so, I bet he would really have appreciated you running the RC boat on the other side of the lake, further away from him. I kayak fish a lot and the few times I've had someone paddle or run their motor boat near where I was casting, it basically killed all chances of catching anything and was really aggravating.
Yes, the problem with low-end boats is no reverse which means in the pool they get stuck in the corner. While the remote is a downside, reverse and low price win out.

The ones on eBay are the cheapest ones, you just have to look very carefully, tons of ones from China, I like to look for the ones in my area.

How about "let's go sail", "let's go run", or even (since the person steering the boat is a "pilot"), "let's go pilot".
And you hit one of my sore spots here. WATER DOES NOT CONDUCT ELECTRICITY. Ions dissolved in the water conduct electricity, which means that most bodies of water - and most tap water - will conduct electricity. But if you get distilled water (or have a city that has really pure tap water), it won't.
this would be great for a float fly when all the flying is done. Pretty cool, nice price!
