Actually Pier Luigi Loro Piana is an heir to a family fortune that was made back in the 20's via rich people clothing. Back then we were known for letting them get pretty fucked up in WW1 before we finally decided to jump in and save Europe from ze germans.

Finnish build at least she was ..there must have been severe damage to the structures from the fall off the cargo ship.

@Nick she actually was salvaged, as she kept floating (albeit with a lot of water in her) and she was towed to Palma where she has been lifted out of the water.
