as of now I can't afford a yacht but Azimut is second to none the Italian wins this race. the interior is outrageous the exterior set up is superb cruising the warm waters with 6 or 8 people would be a trip of a lifetime. I really love the AZIMUT27 but before long ill be picking one out for myself. lol

draft is a problem in Galveston Bay.....7 ft or less out of the channels

I Grew up on Galveston Bay (Anahuac). Recommend a Nordhavn with big fuel tanks and you can watch galveston bay disappear off your plotter. I now live in the pacific northwest and the boating is far superior here.

overall which company is better sunseeker or azimut ? Are there any differences besides reputation?

Quinton Shefield I've heard ( and have seen online) there are problems with Azimut boats after they're bought. I.e., using subpar materials, problems with fiberglass and shoddy construction.

The Azimut 80 is the most beautiful yacht Azimut has ever produced. It will be sad to see it replaced by whatever next generation 80 they come up with. Sometimes change just for change sake is a step backwards.
