How would you compare this to a v3 stealth? Which board would you prefer for 3-6ft waves?

If you want a similar feel to your V3 but in a board tuned for better surf the stealth will be a great board for you. If you want to go down the high performance shortboard route the Baby Buggy is the call.

Thanks for the reply, at the moment I only have a 5'4 superbrand fling in superflex which I love for 1-3ft surf and I'm looking for short board thats good for 3-6ft for average-intermediate surfer. I have a had a ago on the v3 rocket in carbon wrap which went real well but I would prefer pu and slightly more pulled in nose for when waves get a bit bigger.

Cheers

Hey Stefan, The Baby Buggy has a more performance shortboard approach with tighter axis turns and it encourages more active surfing. The V3 Stealth builds more speed on its own due to lower nose rocker and a more parallel rail line, it likes to make more carving turns. What other boards have you been surfing? We would be stoked to help line you up with the right shape and size with a little more information

Great review. How does it compare to the Quiver Killer? Off to CR and Panama. Have you ridden the R4C version? How does it compare in the bigger stuff to the QK? I have an Evo/Short Round for the small stuff so looking for a board to compliment that.

Hey Samwak, the Baby Buggy is more similar to a high performance shortboard, with the mid point more centralized and less width than the QK. It's faster rail to rail and makes tigher axis turns. The Quiver Killer paddles faster and carries more speed down the line. The R4 channelling adds drive but works best in cleaner conditions. Both of these boards work well when it's big, the QK will feel more similar to your shortround but more stable at high speeds and in big bowly surf while the Baby Buggy will be a different approach with more turns. Just picked one up, and had a surf on it. This is a very accessible short board design. If you've been surfing a fish or a wide nose groveler and want to transition to a more high performance shape, this is definitely a board to consider. Easy to surf and will work in almost everything.

Hey Real! How does it compare to the new Voodoo child? I would be really happy about a response! ...trying to decide between these two...
Cheers from France!

The Voodoo Child's Rocker is lower entry in the nose, giving it great drive and projection when pumping. The board will naturally carry a lot of speed when on your front foot.

The description from Lost as a "healthy kick in the tail" is above average tail rocker. The helps the board with lower entry rocker still turn on a dime and handle late drops with ease.

A quick breakdown in the differences of the Baby Buggy (BB) and the Voodoo Child (VC). BB has more entry rocker, fuller rails, wider center point and a thicker tail. The VC has lower entry rocker, thinner rails, double concave tail, beak nose and bump/hip to squash tail.

Hi, I was get wonders should get this board (Baby Buggy), or the V2 Grinder. I surf at St. Augustine Florida, the waves are 5- 10 feet and I an intermediate surfer. Any suggestions???

Hey Ryan, The Baby Buggy and V2 Grinder share a similar outline, and dimensions but the rocker line is different. The Baby Buggy has more flip in the nose which makes this board handle late drops better, and it will offer better control on big days. The Lower rocker of the V2 Grinder will paddle better and generate more speed when the surf is small. Hope this helps - Ashlon Durham

Hi REAL Watersports . I,m just I little interested in wait as I,m riding my baby buggy at 6,2" 36LI,m 5,10" 95kg using Large FCS AM fins & loose quite unforgiving . I just thinking there my be a betterFin choose for me to tighten it up a bit . It seem very full in rails . I,m use to surfing the 6,2" 35L Domesticated Beach buggy which is very for giving not so thick in the rails . I have used Large AM fins for a long time maybe thay don't suit this board . Grate to here opinion . cheers Jarrad
