A boat! We love hitting the pond or lake with a radio control boat during the warm months, but it’s mid winter here in New England and it’s not exactly boat season. But when Atomik reached out to us and asked if we wanted to try their new Barbwire 2 17” Brushless Deep-Vee, well we couldn’t resist. We’ve had experience with the original Barbwire and it was a lot of fun, so we were really looking forward to seeing the updates on the Barbwire 2. The boat has a better battery, motor, prop, improved CG and some new aluminum running hardware. Top top it all off, Atomik claims the boat does 30+ MPH. So in this video we take a look at those new features and lucked out with a few warm days that allowed a local pond to thaw and we were able to test the boat and grab plenty of action video.
