What the HELL is the obsession with sinks??? I guess two massive industrial size sinks aren't enough, better add a third for good measure. A great big boat and a two burner stove? How about an oven, a freezer, or a dishwasher?

No, he did not. Swingers would prefer a single hull with less privacy. The puritans are always the ones with their mind in the gutter.

Wouldn't want to be frying anything on that cooker. Splatter all over cabinets and no exhaust vent over stove.

Like most reviews from boats.com, it is nearly useless. All the boats in their review are perfect, no shortcomings whatsoever! Nice! Nice! Nice! Everything good! Just take your money out and buy it!

Weather shouldn't be a concern. the enclosure should handle that. Want to go out in really bad weather , get a stronger enclosure

+Walter Engle Upper helm is/can be enclosed (plenty of protection). Lower helms take up too much living space and usually just collect dust. Plus it's very expensive and more things to go wrong. They usually slave off one or the other, so there is no redundancy unless you have two separate systems installed $$$$

+Walter Engle Hey Walter - our test boat had the steering station on the bridge, only, but there is an option on the 48 to have a lower helm station. It replaces the settee to starboard with a helm and double-wide helm chair.

Hi, David,

Headroom varies throughout the boat, but in main cabin areas it's as much as 6'5". I'm 5'11" and one of the other people onboard during our test is 6'1", and I don't believe either of us had to duck anywhere in the saloon.

@Louis Switzer it doesn't look like it's a standard feature, but on boats of this size and price, it can always be added as optional equipment.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it was closer to 7'. I'm 6'9" and am looking for something I don't have to duck in. Not having any luck so far. But the Aquila is a gorgeous boat. I like everything it has to offer.

The headroom looks huge. What is the ceiling height? Taller folks might like to know.
