It is also very predictable in heavy seas, and that Cummins and the big prop just chugs along no matter what you throw on it.
It is however a budget trawler, so it have its share of flimsy plastic doodats here and there.
The salon becomes rather small after a while. Lack of Co pilot seat is a problem unless you get close and personal by doubling up on the wide helm seat.
Your partner generally ends up wedging into the galley for most of the time.
Fly bridge is great though.
Forward cabin is cramped and the V berth did not work for us, but then we came from a much larger trawler yacht.
We always said that it was a shame the same interior design of the NC9 or NC11 hadn't been applied to the Swift 34 because we would probably still own it now.
Build quality can be a bit iffy at times.
Single engine with bow and stern thrusters takes some beating in my opinion taking economy in mind.
