Sea Fox and Mako compared to a contender... really. I understand two different price points. I bought a 2015 Key West 239 for 60k. Had it for 3 years and sold it for 55. Try that with a Sea Fox. Mako lost there reputation in the 90’s. Biggest POS and only alive because dumbasses that buy boats at Bass Pro...

Well, before I get started here lets agree that Contender should not be in this conversation. Not because they are bad boats (they aren't) but because of price. I just a working man, not a millionaire. They overprice the crap out of them and to be honest there are CC's on the market that are priced much lower than Contender that are built and perform just as well. Grady white being one of them. Wellcraft another. Contender is the "Joe Weider" weight set of the boating world. You are buying a name. I would take a Grady white any day over a Contender. Two of my friends have Seafox's and I have never noticed the bad ride you speak of. But then again I have been offshore fishing in all types of boats for the last 40 years. I own a Mako Pro17skiff and mostly fish inshore, however I have friends who I go out with and they come along with me inshore, it's a partnership. So I really don't pay attention to the ride much nor do we go out in dangerous conditions.

Bunk Man Seafox, seriously? I have been on several models, especially the 28 and they are the worst riding hulls you will ever ride from an OF. Have ridden 21 flats boats that ride better than the 28. Huge difference between high quality boats like Condender, SeaVee, Seahunter, from a Seafox. Seafox has always been known for bad fit/finish and hardest ride in the water.

Before you do, consider the Sea Fox 246 Commander or the 226 Commander.
