I have one right here in my room and when I use it in the water instead of the other ones it is a really good board for beginners and for people trying out big waves for the first time. Probably one of the best boards for starters

I got one of these as a summer toy, but I find there is not much traction on the deck. Can you use wax on these??

Yes you can I put wax on mine when I use but don't put a lot on or when your not using it because it can start layering up and you will get to much in a spot

ok great. one more quick one. how do you remove the wax to change it. a wax comb doesn't seem to work.

Hello,

thank you for your videos. I have bought this surfboard and my girlfriend and I tried it near Rome last week. I noticed that, while my girlfriend could stand on this board, I could not, because after the pop-up, the board sinked. My girlfriend is 5'5'' tall and her weight is 121 lbs , while I'm 5'7'' tall and my weight is 144 lbs. Maybe the reason is that I am too heavy for this board when waves are small (less than 20 inches), am I wrong?

Weight wise you should be fine on the 7ft 2. But it really depends on your skill level etc. If you were struggling on the 7ft 2. Then it could well be worth trying an 8ft board. But you probably need at least waist high waves to get the 7ft 2 going. Best Regards

Hello, I was looking at this board and also the Alder Delta 7ft board and wondered if anyone had any advice for which board to choose. I have never surfed properly before but will be hiring a surfboard this week but I won't be able to surf very often. If anyone has ever surfed either of these boards I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts on them. Thank you

Hello, Thank you for your answer. Are there any other boards on the website that you recommend that are around a price of £150? I did notice that the CBC and the Alder Delta have a package deal with the wax and the bag for around £190 but I will probably not get another board as I won't use it as often as i'd like and although I was initially looking at the Alder Delta i saw in the description of the CBC that it "has a well designed shape which will continue to perform as the rider improves so you won't have to reach for your wallet as soon as you've mastered the basics". I was also wondering if you could tell me how long the sale will last and also if it is likely that the package deals will end or if they will continue. Thank you.

Hi, Both those boards are really good quality foamies with internal wooden stringers, keeping the board regid and able to support an adult.
