Yes, i believe so. It comes with an automatic safety system so that the blades/ motor doesnt work out of the water on purpose

Yes actually I would recommend that for more power. It originally comes with 1800mah and 7.2 V I believe. Also I didn't word the video correctly because we were running out of memory!!
