Thanks for your support! A surprising all rounder packed with fun, the Channel Islands NeckBeard 2 Surfboard Review is Dane Reynolds' new 'fun' performance whip...and it could be yours, too. My Neck Beard 2 is 6’2 x 20 3/8 x 2 ¾ at 38.2L’s (standard dims). A big fan of single concave, Dane asked Britt Merrick to take out the vee from the original CI Neck Beard, creating a single concave throughout. This changed the rocker landscape but in a positive way—enhancing its wave entry, down-the-line speed, and overall control. Channel Islands Surfboards also widened the tail block 1/2” and added a slight hip, resulting in increased responsiveness and manoeuvrability.
