Thanks for your support! It's weird and it rips! This is the Channel Islands Weirdo Ripper surfboard review by Yadin Nicol and Al Merrick at Benny's Boardroom. At first glance, I thought Al Merrick and Yadin Nicol's Weirdo Ripper was just another shorter, wider, fatter small wave board. But this board is much more. My 'go to' board on a recent Maldives trip, the CI Weirdo Ripper loves a clean, lined up face from waist high to well overhead. My only qualm about this board is that it just doesn't seem to get along with more average conditions. I love this board in good, lined up waves...do you? -------------- + See the Full Review with Full Standard Dims, Rocker/Outline Images, Ride Pluses/Minuses, Comparisons to Similar Models and More: http://bit.ly/WeirdoRipperReview + Subscribe to Get the Latest Reviews, Deals & Updates Direct from Benny and CompareSurfboards.com: http://bit.ly/1dUbZ5A -------------- Looking for a source of real, honest, objective information about surfboards and surfing products – based on actual experience from surfers? Hey I'm getting a Weirdo Ripper 5'10*20*2 1/2 , 3 fin set. I'm intermediate and looking for the best fins for this board. I'm 165 pounds so i need medium fins. I was wondering if the FCS PC AM-2 medium fins would be a good choice for this board? ,Witch fins do you recommend for this board ?
If you don't mind, I'll add this great feedback as a review of the WR at CompareSurfboards.com so other surfers will benefit.
Cheers,
Benny
Is it working in smaler windy conditions as well?
I ride the Weirdo Ripper at 6’2 x 21 3/8 x 2 3/4 @ 40.3L of volume and I am 6'0 and 110 kg's (~240 lbs).
Have you seen this guide to help you with sizing? http://bit.ly/knowyourvolume
Also, please see the full review of the WR here - http://bit.ly/WeirdoRipperReview - I include the dims I ride for every board I review!
I hope this helps you!

Benny
10. comment for Channel Islands Weirdo Ripper Review no.3 | Compare Surfboards
Thanks for your question! I surfed the Weirdo Ripper in average (weak, onshore, not lined up, etc.) conditions from waist high to head high.
Does this answer your question?
Cheers,
Benny
