At first, I heard a common gripe - the outline looks full...and strange. But good word travels fast and this board is proving to be a breakaway model for Channel Islands Surfboards. Al Merrick and Jordy Smith's brainchild, the Bunny Chow is fast, nimble and versatile - not only in the different wave types that the Bunny Chow handles but also in the skill levels that feel comfortable riding it. I liked my Bunny Chow right away (here is my full review: http://bit.ly/ChannelIslandsBunnyChowReview ) and so did Craig, who is a more capable surfer than I! Hey, How would you rate the bunny chow with the OG flyer and the sampler? Which is more fun and would you pick for smaller waves, but also perform in somewhat bigger waves and is more fun but forgiving to progress on as a beginner? I’m going to indo this week and found a good deal on each of these boards. I will probably also use much bigger boards but want to bring one of these back home after holidays because of the big price difference over here. So this will be a “next step” for me. I’m from northern Europe and waves over here are less than optimal.. (small). Myself, I’m honestly still a beginners/intermediate and around 5”9 160 lbs. *Side note, the airline I’m using unfortunately prevents me to bring back any board over 6”0, so shorter boards but wider + more volume is my only option to buy. Found a sampler 5”11, bunny chow 5”10 and OG flyer 5”8 which seems very small but anyways..) Hope to hear your opinion on this. Thanks!

My favorite all rounder. I'm not sure why the trend is to move the widepoint forward and pull the tail in so much. That means when you step on the tail the board just drags....on the contrary the Bunny Chow just takes off when you step back on the tail and climbs the face, and I never really considered myself a backfoot surfer either.
