my Challenger; 21ft. Mercurys 1st 270 mod VP (1986ish) 97mph radar; swinging 3 blade cleaver lift kit AND Very Important dual ride guide steering. that little wobble once the hull planed out was single ride guide. 50gal. tank (In the Nose)

80 to 100 gallons? I don't know of any bass boat that had live wells that big.

Have had two, they truly ride the best! Save you money until you can get one, it's worth the wait.
My brother was single, turned off his heater in the house he lived in to save enough money to get the payment lower . We both have champion's mines 18' 8 ", his is 20' . They are worth every penny !!!

The hull looks different from the older champions. By the way the boat shake going that speed, might not make a wake handling

going to the split livewell is the only thing i don't like about what they did to the 210. the single divided well is better for the fish if you plan on releasing them later. i also always liked the way champ had the dividing gate in the livewell on a hing. when meat fishing i have always plugged the livewell in my champs and filled them with ice so i could use it as a fish box when fishing for redfish or other larger species. i could live with the split wells though. I can't wait until the 198 comes out. i will be all over that rig as soon as my budget allows.

Front and rear deck uses a locker bar. No need for latches. Lids open easily as there are hand cutouts in the fiberglass for your fingers.

If you're talking about built-in latches/locks for under-deck storage, they have been proven time & again under heavy rains and big rogue waves to LEAK. Plus, a thief doesn't care one bit about "not damaging your boat" when they take a small crowbar to your latches. That's exactly why ya see so many guys buying LOCK BARS in addition to their built-in latches. Charger gives you lock bars AS STANDARD EQUIPMENT........and ya don't ever have leaking latches, because there aren't any. The lids fit so snug, they don't "bounce open" in rough water either. Very smart.......if ya asked me. And I learned this from many other experienced anglers. Just sayin'. Everyone "in-the-know".....knows that the legendary Champion/Charger hull is one BAD ASS HULL. Getting up on plane with such a big heavy bass boat in only 2.4 SECONDS.......ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And to think that is with the 2nd to biggest motor it can handle. That borderlines on "unbelievable performance". ALL 100% MATCHING FIBERGLASS CONSOLES is far better too.
