Even fresh water left in a cylinder can start rusting and destroy the engine. How long do you figure that engine has been sitting around with salt water in the engine? Get over yourself already. Stop calling people names and attacking them based on their hobbys. If you dont like my opinion ...all I can say is its still A free country as far as thats concerned. So get over it already.

Just create a priorities checklist, and start checking things off. Ex: 1) Hull (Is it seaworthy? Does it leak? Structurally sound?) 2) Mechanical (Engine, Fuel System, Electrical, etc)
3) Controls (Do you have a proper steering system? Throttle? Trim? Etc.)
Be resourceful, cautious, and tenacious, and you will be enjoying your boat.
