We have a Marinette 26 and love the aluminum!!! Great video. Spot on. Hillarious!! And you are right, our 1966 26' looks like an 86 28'. I think the aluminum is just harder, at least back then, to create the curvy woman-appealing lines needed to appeal to a larger audience and keep up to date aesthetically. We took two years to renovate our boat head to toe, launched in 07 and never looked back. Best boat I have ever owned......anyway, GREAT VIDEO....more please!!

We have a 100% restored 1966 26' convertible we love. The restore took us 2.5 years to complete and is the lowest maintenance boat we have ever owned. These are great basic boats and well worth putting in the time to restore. I used to have a Trojan F26....and the stringers rotted and the decks started by the time we got rid of it...plus that POS Chrysler. No wood in this baby. GREAT review....very interesting, informative and hilarious.
