That shouldn't be getting wet in there anyway to tell you the truth. Other reviews on this boat stays very dry inside.

Hey I am a previous owner of an RC boat and yesterday it flipped and sunk to the bottem of the lake I went down got it it was only in there for 38 seconds I emptyd it after but it stoped working cus it all got filled with water I really would like to talk to you about this boat review before I buy it

Very well planned review!
Love the quality good job!
I think i would pick up the larger version of this one the feilun ft011 i think..
You should try it too loads of fun and its got a beautiful carbon fibre design on the canopy.

I guess so, would have to be waterproof and light so as not to turn boat over, not something I would personally do on this model

Nice. I've always wondered why you can buy good superfast boats rather cheaply (or really cheap like this one) and yet the slower displacement types are so expensive. :(
For the record I have found that RC boats, like their flying relatives, should be headed upwind/current where possible so that when they go wrong, run out of power/range they tend to drift back to you Eventually

I can't trust mine, was good at first but then it got a mind of its own a couple times an had to get a real boat to get it, it wasn't out very far and it would go full throttle or not respond the the controller at all

That's not sounding good, but I guess you can get a problem with anything, hope you get it sorted. Still having fun with mine and out yesterday, if it works it is fast and fun. Hope you are soon back in full control, good luck

Whooa thanks. Yeah nice area of the garden, didn't do the full 360 pano as you would have seen where they are building the marina, helipad and runway ROFL I was very surprised they sent me a boat but very pleased they did :-) Cheers

Surprisingly fast and turns on a dime, I would have expected a built in LV indicator though.

It really does and yes a LV warning should be included, easy to fix with alarm or timer....or prepare for a swim LOL I live in a beautiful country and am very grateful for that, cheers

Hi Tigger, nice review. Is it just for fresh water or can it go in salt water as well?
I had a parrot hydrofoil which the drone could fly alone or you could clip it into the hydrofoil body and go in fresh water. It was controlled through a phone app, which I really didn't like and seamed buggy! I went through three of them with motor burn-outs and one fly-away into the lake. Parrot were very good and replaced it twice, but I really couldn't recommend, especially with a retail price of over $200 AUS, (I purchased two on a $45 special). In short purchased two, had two replacements, don't think I got more than two battery packs use out of any of them :-) using the hydrofoil for the limited time I was able to was fun though!

Hi M8, I wouldn't run it in salt water think you would have to make it a lot more water tight, that sea stuff is very corrosive. Just my opinion but I have found to my cost that salt water and electronic are not best of buddies ;-) That Parrot sounds a pain, my review would have wound up very different with one like that. This thing is a blast, out with it again yesterday :-) happy flyin'....whether in air or on water LOL Cheers
