So far I'm impressed with the size, the looks, the quality (other than a couple small imperfections in the finish, but not very noticeable), all the spare parts/props, a stand, and the simplicity. It is too bad it doesn't come with the adapter for US plug ins, I have a few other chargers so I wouldn't use it anyway, but some others may need it. you have to remember the 3s and 2s packs aren't as tall as the 4s.. the 2s is very slim

5s? 2 batteries....one 2s 2200mah 30c batt in the nose, one 3s 2200mah 30c in the holder...a t connector/deans splitter to connect....your thoughts John? would it work? 65 watt rated esc i do know that.

Mine runs great, but be sure to grease the drive-shaft before running it. If you loosen the grub screw that connects the u-joint to the drive-shaft, then it slides right out the back. Smear a film of grease on it, then reassemble. Repeat as needed. Only takes a few minutes. I think there are videos of the process here on YouTube.

+MrXtraconservative Thanks, I took it out last night, the driveshaft had a ton of grease in there already, but it really doesnt do anything since its supported at each end with a ball bearing. Im going to start trimming and adjusting things to see if I can get it to go faster and ride more out of the water!

Good starter boat except for one thing......at FOUR CELLS most anything runs fast....look for something with 3 ,(or even two) cells that will run as fast These Li-Po's are expensive, and short-lived in boats, unlike quads/planes/Buggys, cars, which don't draw power as hard.One ten min run and the day is over unless your stocked with at least 3 more. Each battery will cost as much as 1/2 the price of the boat. I've been running electric boats since the mid-90's and was in the 60+mph range on 14.8v back THEN .(Outrigger hull) This hull won't go any faster (35MPH) without becoming squirrely, so you can't hop it up. Build a faster (longer) Mono-hull to run on a 2s 2200mah battery (CHEAP-$10). It will do around 40mph , it's easy.
