You guys must hate question like this but I am going to ask it anyway. Firewire categories this board as beginner to expert...............that's pretty broad. Is this correct or should it be more directed to an accomplished surfer. I am a begin/intermdiate surfer but feel my board is restricting my progress (7.6ft mal) as it has been sporadic.. Would it be a good idea to grab some thing like this fish? Thanks in advance

How does the go fish compare with the puddle fish by lost ?
Im looking for a board (fishy - grovel) to build a 2 board quiver along with a ci sampler , in order to cover anything from 1- 6 feet .

I am 41 years old and I like the short boards, my board everyday is the Pyzel sure thing in 6 / 33.5 L
I hesitate between 5.9 and 5.11 go fish?
Because you have to surf this shorter board?

I usually surf a 6.0 v3 rocket (33.7) and i took the 5.11 (35L) go Fish. I never had so much fun in my first Session with a Board. It flies down the line and really turns easy. I am a mediocre Surfer and really love the Board.

so if i normally ride a 5'10 19.5 x 2 3/8 at 29.6 L, probably go with the 5'7? at 31L? I have a 5'8 thats around 30.8 epoxy, i dont think it paddles better than my 5'10 @ 29.6 L

I just got the 5' 9" and I'm 5'8" and weigh 180 lbs. I took it out today on a beach break in 2-3" waves and it paddled fine. It's pretty loose but not as speedy as my Dan Mann boards in the flat sections. Can't wait to ride it in juicier surf.
