Loved this build i have a 14ft smokercraft, how stable is it with the deck at that height? Also i see some of the jon boats with the decks at the top of the gunnels, where this one is dropped down a few inches it seems, is that for stability?

it wont sink. i got a 25hp outboard on my 16ft vhull and it does just fine.

Alex K Just a heads up if you’re looking for something on the biggish side... I went with a 14’ 86 Sylvan Marine Super Snapper. 64” beam width, ~50” at the floor line. It’s a little bigger than I wanted for some of my smaller ponds/lakes but will be great on the bigger lakes.
