Hey there, really interested in this board. I'm 5`11 (180cm) and 80kg. I'd call myself a beginner to intermediate surfer.

Do you think the 5'10, 35L would be ideal for me or should i go smaller?

On paper there's not much between a 5' 8 and 5' 9, is it noticeable when they're out of the racks? If your daily driver was 32l and you wanted a board for slacker surf which one would you recommend? Would 5' 9 take away too much performance?

The 5'9 wouldn't take away too much performance, it depends on if you feel like you need the extra volume, based on how your 32L board feels?

Hi, I'm 65kg and 173cm. More like a beginner to early intermediate surfer. I normally ride 6'2 around 40 L but it's really hard to duck dive. Do you think the psycho nitro 5'8 33L would be a good choice? Cheers

Hey Eric, I think a board around 33L would work for you as you already know the more volume you have the harder it is to duck dive. I'm about your weight (66kg) and I recently rode a 33l, I could duck dive it okay. - David

Hey DTL, I'm 6'4 but only weigh around 80kg, I normally ride HPSB's around 6'0 just under 30L, looking at a 5'8, 33L psycho nitro as a performance groveller. Is this too small or about right? Don't want it to feel unresponsive but want to generate speed in small, gutless waves. Cheers!

I would say if your current board is just under 30 litres then the 5'8 at 33 litres should be good, this will give you a bit more volume than you're used too which will be good in weaker conditions. The foam is mainly distributed under the chest making them paddle really well, the tail of the psycho nitro is nicely refined with the volume foiled out through the tail, this will then allow you to engage the rail and turn the board with ease.

@Down The Line Surf Co. inter/advanced, I can link turns, do cutbacks, go out in most UK conditions, but don't always catch every wave I paddle for or make it rain on most turns haha

Yeah we have lots, we have the Blak Box 2 in Round Tail, Squash Tail and HyFi.

hi, im 87kg and im 174cm, i've researched this board but im just stuck on which size i should get it, either the 5'10 35L or the 5'11 36.5L, which size would you recommend?

I am 6’3” - 200Lbs and I have a 6’1”, I only surf twice a year in surf trips. I’ve surfed my 6’1” in overhead conditions and it was AWESOME, but I wish I could have gone with the 6’2” for junky waves.

It’s light, responsive, and floats well.

I’d say go with the 5’11.

I would say that either would work for you. I'm 90kg and I ride the 5'11. They paddle really well and generate speed easily so really it just depends what kind of waves you want it for and how much float you want out of the board.
