That said, if you don’t want a real boat, just want something with a trolling motor just to fish out of, you just can’t beat the Pelican Bass Raider. Stable as can be, tons of room and you can just throw in the back of the truck or top of the car. Pelican is also way cheaper.
10ft square root times 1.56 = 4.93 mph, times .75 is 3.7 mph, times .8 is 3.94 mph... is going to be just about its efficiency speed range. 30-36lb trolling motor would be plenty. at 12ft it'd change to 4-4.3 mph for efficiency speed. trying to push faster gains little, drains battery lots faster.
Old town predator 13. Like a rock!
When talking stability, where you talking about the emotion stealth pro angler?
Thanks
Cool thanks
I have seen this come up way too often with high school anglers over the past year.
I also dont think its fair these can be used for kayak fishing tournaments. Your not even paddling just driving a small all electric boat.
That would ruin me for sure doing Kayak Tourneys; - might as well be going against a bass boat.
No thanks I like to keep it Human powered.
Hopefully someone does some regulations or restrictions on these for Kayak Tourneys.
CLUNK!
That’s supposed to be a travel motor?
