The Puddle Jumper unlike the previous Domestic boards like the RV and Bottom Feeder, features a concave bottom that transitions into Vee out through the tail. hi coming off a minimal i m thinking about a puddle jumper at 5.11 or a short round at 6.2.
im 6.3 12.5 st.

better the puddle j. alone or keep the mini mal and add a short round ?

Do you think I should go for the 5'11 or the 6'1 in Lib Tech. Im 6'3" and 13st The volume looks right for the 5'11" but do you think the length will be too short

Thanks for your message. Definitely stick with the 5 11. The Puddle Jumper is designed to be surfed really small and if you go too big you actually lose a bit of paddling speed as well as the ability to turn. At your weight/height the 5 11 will be fine. I’m 6" 1, 12 stone and I ride a 5" 7. Let us know if you have any more questions !
