I am still running a Lowe 97 150 roughneck with a 9.9 Evinrude omc style . My boat was made for one person . My opinion my boat is a really nice jon boat . Getting ready to sell it to buy a 2014 bass tracker . New Lowe boats are nice but I would not buy another one again it's a 1997 roughneck

Dang, thats a shame but looks like you have another hobby to take up your time. Lake Shabbona treated me like garbage the three times I was there. Had luck in Twin Lakes, WI and Silver Lake in WI. No luck at Rock Cut State Park really. For 2016 I just had a small 14 ft tiller but now I have an older 18ft Nitro with a 115hp Merc

slowfaller Actually, I haven't taken it out but 2 times. Lake Geneva and Lake Delavan. Been busy Racing during the summer. Thought about putting it up for sale.

Yes still have the boat. I have to save up for a Lund or a alumacraft those are not cheap

I bought a 2010 Lowe stinger from cabelas. I am not as happy with it as others on here. If you fish in standing timber be careful. I was fishing in some timber for crappie, trolling from tree to tree I was coming up to a tree and all the sudden I came to a stop. There r ribs on the bottom of the boat and if u hit a stump that is under the water it will high center the boat. And when it happened it is we was at a crappie tourment and the wind was blowing 25 miles a hour so when u get suck and the wind is blowing it will turn the boat sideways and the waves start coming over the side. And do not try to go on a big lake on a windy day it does not take on the waves well at all. In my opinion it's not a good boat go with a deep v and do not buy at cabelas they r horrible at least where I live

Sorry to hear about your experience Chris. I had a Lund Explorer prior to my Stinger purchase and the boat worked well but, the Stinger 175 just works better for me on the type of water I normally fish. I think there are pros and cons to any type of boat. So, do you still have your Lowe?

love the review do u have any videos of u out on the water using all of ur features so we can see everything u installed on it?? also can u take this boat into the bay ?? and does it get unstable in choppy waters on the bay on on lakes or rivers??? I'm really considering this boat but i wanna see more reviews on it!!

Nick, I do not have any footage of me fishing yet. After I purchased my Boat in 2014 my business got really busy. I only had the two opportunities to get on the water to go fishing. It is on my to do list for 2015. I want to share the upgrades with everyone and give you a real honest review of my equipment choices good or bad. But both times I took it on the water it was all smiles. As soon as winter is over here in IL/WI I will definitely get back in the water and share my experience with you. Stay tuned!

Overall I like my boat very much. I think it will be even better after I install the second Power Pole. On a windy day I would get a lot of swing. Great package and very happy with my purchase. Before I purchased the boat I did a lot of research and decided on all the things you saw in the video. Super roomy I had 3 people on the bow fishing for crappies and the boat was stable. Highly recommend upgrading to bigger trolling motor! I received many compliments on my boat. Perfect setup for the all around fisherman!

Thanks for the in depth review! I will be getting the same boat in a couple weeks, and will also be upgrading the trolling motor. What shaft length did you go with? The one I am looking at (Minn Kota Terrova) only comes in 45" or 60". 60" seems way too long, but I'm afraid 45" might come out of the water in choppy conditions.

The shaft length is 45". Has plenty of length in choppy or rough conditions. You will love your boat!

I looked at the Tracker 175 TXW as well and decided on the Lowe. As you indicated, customer service was a big issue. But the main consideration was the fact that Lowe does not use ANY plywood on the boat. On Tracker boats the entire deck is made of wood. Also fit and finish was much better on the Lowe. The only thing I liked better on the tracker was the seats.
I elected the 75 hp 4 stoke. Wondering why you didn't go with the max rated engine?

I looked at both boats. Ultimately, I went with the Lowe because of fit and finish great customer service. The console seats on the Tracker is nicer looking but, I'm only sitting went I'm driving from point A to Point B. The front deck space is awesome. Had 3 full grown adults fishing in the front with no room issues. The boat moves and planes fast with the 60 Mercury. I went down 1 pitch from stock prop that helped alot with the amount of weight carried on the boat. Good Luck in your search. I would recommend the Stinger 175 for all around great muli species fishing.

Pringals - My garage is the same size as yours. With the motor down and turned to the left, tongue folded, I have about 4-6 inches of clearance with the garage door down.

Nice review. I'm considering this boat as well as the Polar Kraft 175, but I'm concerned about my garage length. Can you tell me how much room does this boat need with the tongue folded in? My garage is about 19'-4" deep. -Thanks!
