NSP Elements Funboard Surfboard Review

Ian Reviews the NSP Elements Funboard Surfboard: https://www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/nsp The new 2018 NSP Elements Funboard surfboard...the clues in the name. The Funboard is a very versatile surfboard and has all the features in place to put a huge smile on your face while accelerating your progression. This forgiving shape is all about catching plenty of waves in surf of all types. The NSP Funboard is designed to suit a very wide range of abilities from first-timers to experienced surfers who don't get in the sea as much as they'd like. The boards shape is all about fast paddling early wave entry and an ability to turn and really perform under the right feet. The Elements Funboard has a rounded dolphin style nose which keeps the volume under your chest which keeps it stable and a breeze to paddle and catch waves early. The deck is domed so the board carries its volume centrally keeping the rails nice and sensitive and the rounded pintail is pulled in giving real control in bottom turns and cutbacks. The brilliant Funboard is the ideal step-up board for the surfer who has nailed down all the basics on a foamy or Mal and is looking to purchase their first "proper" surfboard to really advance their skills. Teens and adults will love the lightweight construction and manoeuvrability of the Elements Funboard. This amazing combination of amazing value, lightweight durability and real performance makes the Funboard one of the most popular in the NSP stable for progressing and fine-tuning skills. These NSP surfboards are constructed with and EPS Secure Cell core which is then wrapped in lightweight fibreglass, HDT vacuum moulded and finished with a durable gel coat skin. Lightweight and tough perfect for anyone, beginner to advanced. We're happy to consider taking your old board as a trade in against a new NSP, so why not fire us an email with some good quality photos and an honest appraisal of the condition of your board (dings and repairs) and we'll get back to you with a provisional valuation. If you have any questions about NSP surfboards or anything else surfing related we'd be delighted to answer them. Great review. Overall, these are good boards for the price. They are very durable and tough, but not indestructible. The good news is they are easy to repair if you happen to be carless or unlucky enough to put a hole in one. A strong wind storm damaged my favorite older nsp. But
I fixed it without any issues. I have some older NSPs that I picked up used. I loan them out to friends and they return them in one piece. That says a lot about the overall quality of these boards. The older ones are much denser than the elements version. The elements are of a lighter construction and geared more towards performance. If you’re a casual surfer, (like myself) , I highly recommend these boards either old or new.

Hello. I'm a beginner, 80kg and 5'7. Do you think the 7'6 NSP Elements Funboard, with a volume of 55L, be okay for me?

In comparison, I was also looking at the Firewire Timbertek ADDvance surfboard 7ft 6, which has a volume of 69.5L.

Any help most advice is most appreciated. :)

I’m gonna get the fish version off your website I was a little skeptical just because it’s out of country being shipped into the u.s. and mistake are made but I’m definitely in the intermediate side and I’m hoping the fish funboard that you reviewed last week can really get into the Florida winter swell this will be my first actual board and I’m so excited maybe you can give me some reassurance that when I do order it will be at my door hahaha I’ve never ordered anything from out of country.
