We review the 69er Pro surfboard by Axel Lorentz. The 'Original Sixtyniner' was and still is a huge success verging on cult following, but as good as the Original is, some of the pros sought a little more performance in steeper waves and wanted a bit more speed in smaller waves without losing the Original's overtly sexy outline. With Axel's huge talent, the result is a board with a very easy on the eye outline and ideal for travel - capable in challenging surf but still fun when it drops below waist height.
