The Rip Off has a more full nose, lower rocker and a diamond tail for more speed in weak surf. The Sure Thing has a more short board inspired outline with a narrower nose and squash tail, this in conjunction with the channeled tail puts the Sure Thing more in the pocket and it prefers more powerful surf. The Nugget covers a wider range, particularly on the low end while the Sure Thing makes tighter angled turns, sits deeper in the pocket and prefers more powerful surf.

The Nugget has more volume per size, a more full nose, they are wider and have lower rocker for more speed and small wave performance. The Sure Thing also features channels and a double winged squash tail while the nugget is typically a round tail or winged swallow tail.
