i have to look at again to see what servo saver i put in there, and the reciever was pretty loke you said plug n play just put some double sided tape to hold it in place

Was the SR200 2 channel receiver, basically a plug and play or what modifications to the SR200 receiver or to your boat's wiring did you need to do to get it to work?

I put a 50amp esc in my newest video, and 120 would be sick but mybe a bit overkill for how small the boat is. i rarley use the full potential of the 50 amp and if i do its on glass water.

how are you getting more power by changing the ESC to higher amp? the motor draws power from the esc regardless of the rating. the rating of an ESC is what it can handle, not what it can deliver. that is why you burned out the original 20amp, because you over drew its rated amperage, which is comon on cheap rtr gear.
but going to a 120 esc isnt going to do anything if your motor can only draw 37 amps peak.
a watt meter is a really good tool to see what your pulling through your speed control and out of your battery.

Nice upgrades ozzie92591! I'm looking to change out these things myself in my Barbwire. Today I opened up the hatch after a good session, and found a tiny e-clip, and can't figure where the hell it came from? Any idea, as you've already torn down this boat? Thanks cuelab.

Servo save from an old rc micro truck i had from losi. Cant recall what it was but it was a sweet lil truck.

I have the new version its radio is better and it has a 30amp esc run it hard up river and it doesn't see obove 85 degrees changing to a 3 blade 32mm prop and going to try an x431. 1.5 octura plastic 2 blade see whats better the receiver looks to be waterproofed now i can see silicone in it

Nice upgrades. Would love to see it on the water. I have a video posted of highly modified version that achieved 50+ mph runs.

Im now using a 3s 30c 1300mah bat. Octura x prop, and atomik 50 amp esc. This thing flys haha!

i realize that I could easily get a 120 amp atomik esc for about the same price as the 50amp one. Would you recommend that as far as for risk for burning up the motor or whatnot? Thanks.

What battery are you using? im using everything stock besides a eflite 2200 battery and a prop from a 17 pro boat impulse and the boat is uncontrollable fast
