Intex boats are really durable I bought mine a year ago and put it threw torture and is still floating today. One example (WHICH I DONT RECOMMEND.) is a video I have INFLATABLE BOAT VS ICEBERG!!! lol check it out thanks

I love my mariner 4. Took it out for the first time this past weekend up to Clear lake in CA. Performed well. Luckily I had electrical at my campsite to recharge my trolling motor battery. I am thinking about getting a 2 or 3HP for it though.

Yes you can stand up in it. I highly recommend the motor mount and putting at least a trolling motor on it. I have mine set up with a Minn Kota 30 lb trolling motor hooked up to a standard car battery, last about 4 hours of use on 3-4 setting, less if you have to use 5. I put a full plywood treated floor in to replace the slated one, and hooked two folding John Boat style folding seats to each end for fishing. Cannot beat this boat for the price and the ability to upgrade it.
