I don't really have any credentials but i surf pretty much everyday i can 3-5 days a week and i try to ride lots of different boards. This board seems like it could be a magic stick. Especially for a bigger guy like you. based on this review you will be able to get this board going really fast on small waves and catch them easier than traditional shortboards. This board is also very forgiving. meaning when you stand up you can misplace your feet and it won't matter. you can make a mistake on your cutback and recover without the wave passing you by. This board also has a fairly curvy outline so it won't feel super stiff in bigger and steeper surf. You could also ride this board shorter than a lot of, or all of your boards especially if your an intermediate-advanced surfer and get a lot more maneuverability without sacrificing speed and drive.
