in the UK you can get it for £26.00 in the US about $$40.00 .you can make your own boat out of plywood and wood glue but I know shit about the technical parts or how to repair them still learning. my dog hates my boat he chases the shit out of it in the sea as long as there are no big waves. and he brings it back in his mouth without a scratch. the boat hull is sturdy well made plastic , the best part of the whole boat is the abs plastic hull for sure. the rest wont last

I had a 100. It lasted all of three outings before the steering servo decided going in circles was more fun.
Great fun but totally unreliable. Sent it back to Amazon

I got a 100 blue boat and the exact same servo problem now it goes in a wide arc and my gundog brings it back in his mouth. because it has an excellent hard plastic shell he doesnt damage it. very good while it goes .I'm going for my 4th run tomorrow and its performing worse with each time so I guess it may not last.

there's no point in that controller because that is the kind of controller where it a 4 channel and it just needs a normal rc car/truck controller.

Since your review, how is the H101 holding up?

Unfortunately mine goes into some sort of low power mode after about a minute of operation.
Power gradually decreases to the point where it is not driveable anymore.

I've converted the ESC to a T-Plug battery connection so that I can use LiPos from my other RC toys, thinking it may be a battery fault, but no.
Unfortunately I think the ESC is on its way out. Thoughts? Any idea where to buy spares for this thing?

Comes with a small amount you can use. Just put a few drops on and it should be good to go.

I don't think so. It's really designed for the engine it has. I think any bigger it would have issues.

Ian Mangham thanks for that advice I will keep that in mind. I straightened the spring type wire to the rudder from the servo and thought that would solve it but no, it keeps a gradual turn in one direction. My dog goes crazy after the little boat and wanted to kill it but I was so happy when he brought it back in his mouth and never damages it. its a hard shell good design. it wouldn't flip over either so I know I can rely on my gun dog to bring it back. its back to being on display and ignored for awhile. Us modern men are easily distracted I'm back to playing my fender stratocaster and mountain biking now so toy boats will have to wait for a while ha ha

yeah it has a sensor in the bottom of the hull and as soon as it touches the water its off. I have the blue boat 100 but the servos give u problems. I want to buy a larger boat but I don't want to waste my money if the servos are unreliable. most of us aint tech guys so how do u fix them? . Im going to buy another server if that can do any better???

I ordered mine on amazon and it was here the next day, lucky for me it was only 80 miles away from my house, it's so much fun! a second battery is a must, the water cooling system works great "tested it" I will take a min or so to get use the the control but make sure your in a big open area, and when the remote starts to beep the low battery, you better get her ass on shore quick, fast and in a hurry!
