Ian reviews the Slater Designs Gamma surfboard: https://www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/slater-designs?style=1778 The Gamma has a very speedy template with a single concave running to a slight vee behind the trailing fin. The vee behind the back fin eases rail to rail work and the rocker and rail shape would be classed as "medium" in the world of high performance shortboards. The outline has a clearly defined "hip" which reduces the turning radius and allows the Gamma to be ridden in shorter, wider dims as well as regular HPSB dims. Debating between SKX or the helium gamma... not quite sure. ive been surfing a evo for awhile now and love the modern plaining hold. any suggestions?

I have a 5'11 skx and it is a great all around board i would go skx for all arounder and the gama for more performace waves i have road skx from thigh hi to triple over head

is 6.0 really the biggest board? i mean really.... I'm 6'5 220 pounds. i could never get away with a 33L 6'0 board for high performance unless it was the best wave on earth were you could ride a lunch tray and get away with it.
