Tom McGuinn had his Rage Black Marlin Shipped to me, so he would have it to run while staying at our campgrounds. Today we got it, opened the box, charged the battery and headed to Ashton's lake to try it out. It was really fun and is fairly inexpensive for a 35 MPH boat. How long is the battery pack? And how much does it weigh

2/3/4 inches. I don't know the weight. It is quite light. I put a bigger 1800 Ma battery in it in my next video and it really made a difference in speed, as it is a very high C. I actually use 2 batteries separated with a Schottky Diode to double the run time to over 19 minutes with no degradation that I could see in speed. Thanks.

hey friend if you find a prop upgrade that works well on this boat I'd like to hear from ya on what it is. I've tried several with no luck. it has the power to push a bigger prop but they all tend to cause the ass end to rise out of the water. just drags them to the top for some reason. also i just figured out how to program the esc something ive had problems with out of this one.

NightFlyyer will do. I've literally tried ever way i could think of.i spent the afternoon saying i wasnt gonna stop till i had it the way i wanted it. i was wrong. after watching some more the best way i know how to explain what it looks like is that it won't bite the water it tries to take off then just falls on it's face. i got it to go one run and it hauled. but only once. i can floor it. take off slow. it does the same. gets started then the prop starts loosing it's bite. I'm all alone in this hobby just going by what info i can find on youtube. i figured you screw it on and go. i was wrong again. hell if it was easy it wouldn't be fun i guess. I'll figure it out or go crazy trying.

You might need to lower the smart tabs to keep the nose from popping out with a more powerful prop. It works on my real boat too. Stay tuned, because I have a video comparison and drag race video coming up between the brushed version and the brushless. Thanks for the comments.

Dave..what body of water did you have your big boat on? looked beautiful..and what happened to your land that you had your previous house on? i loved that yard and set up you had..still hard to believe that happened..but..Life is reality and you make the best of what you have...thanks for the videos....

That is silver lake in Lake Park Iowa. It's a nice quiet lake. I sold the land. It's a big empty flat lot now. Thanks kindly.

Looked it up and it seems very nice for the price. I was surprised it stayed upright with the tight high speed turns.

Looks like you and Tom had some fun with the Boat and his new plane, not to mention the nice weather you having. It's cooled off here a lot today. Woke up this morning to 60 degree temp. Hope to get out and fly the drone.

Haha. Tom was a certified electrician, and I was an electronics engineer on RC equipment, so I keep up....you know.
I didn't want to give Tom a complete lesson, so...... LOL.
