Look up john boat gunnel clamps you can put them on tighten like a vise and you can mount the rod holders to the top aluminum clamp threads in also you can take them off when not in use match your boat

David Hood not sure where your located but another thing to think about is, if the water is really warm and the temp is hot your livewell water will get hot. Try using frozen water bottles when it gets like that to cool it off. Your fish will do alot better.

David Hood the top hole is your overflow. It should drain out as you ad water. I have been told to run the aerator for 5 minutes every half hour or so. The heritage has the most basic system.

Not sure how yours works but mine to keep fresh water in it you have to keep the switch on and it comes close to overflowing
I’ve tried turning it off and on - that works ok but sort of a pain.I’ve tried it with the plug in and plug out .just no happy medium

Mark, If you are still interested in selling the Dowco cover, let me know. Mine will be stored outside much of the time and not sure how long the cover will last. Would be nice for me to have a spare.

I haven't been able to find any fender clips big enough to fit the 2 inch wide gunwales. If you know of any, please let me know. I am a bit "anal" about drilling holes unless there is no other option so I don't want to install more cleats just to hold a fender. So far, my solution is to use a plastic 2 inch spring clamp. These are available at about any big box store like Lowe's, Home Depot etc. I tried one and it clamps around the gunwale just fine and I think they would make a plenty strong temporary attachment for a fender and are easy on/off and can be relocated anywhere on the boat. I'll just drill a hole in the clamp handle to tie the bumper.

Really appreciate these videos as I have one on order and it's amazing how we think a lot alike. I to noticed the buoy to dock issue and also thought about adding a center rigger. I bought the same batt charger and will revisit your install video on that. Still kicking around what fish finder I want to upgrade to but either way will have to run new wiring for it. The side wiring harness cover looks like it's removable but if not can run a pull wire through it. Okay with that said I'm concerned about only a 6 gallon gas tank. I can add a 3 gallon back-up tank with quick connect hose and additional fuel filter on the opposite side or I can replace the 6 gallon with a 12 gallon tank. Weight is an issue plus I wish they would have included a console fuel gauge. What are your thoughts?

The fuel tank was an issue at first but I really think it won't be moving forward, I will be mainly fishing in it and relying on the trolling motor mostly. The fuel gauge would be nice but not entirely necessary as I will be taking it in and out of the lake after each use.

When looking at the boats at BP, the only thing I noticed they seem to short cut was the plastic the seats were mounted on. They seemed flimsy and cheap. I assume they are sturdy with a body sitting on them. I worry over time the mount brackets might break or crack the plastic. Thoughts??

Agreed I am going to monitor that Im not that worried about it, however it could have been built with more rigidity. Down the road if they did fail fabricating something would not be difficult to solve that issue.

I know you will show that once you get it on the lake. That’s what I was thinking though when I watched the video. Haven’t seen anything about the bilge pump / switches / aerator ! Thanks again. Can’t wait for more videos. As you can see, I watched this video within a minute of it being on here. Haha
