I'm looking at the TF also.One of the big reasons is being able to put another seat in the center deck but, it looks like the 4th seat would make things very tight. you said you had 4 people in yours. How much leg room did the passengers in the left front and rear seat have?

There is more than enough room to have 4. If some are just passengers especially or if your fishing with live bait. 4 people bass fishing was a little hectic though.
