I've listened to this album twice so far and honestly, I love it. Old Soul is my least favorite too, but it's honestly like that kid who says they failed one class cause they got a B instead of an A. Its still a good song, its just not a great song like the rest of the songs on the album.

I got to see them when they opened for New Found Glory over a year ago and fell in love. I gotta say I prefer their first album but Crown Shyness is still spectacular. So glad you checked them out!

Love, Hate, React, Relate is about the death of Tobi's dog. Really emotional song when you know the concept, and extremely refreshing to hear a song about a loss of a loved one being a pet.

Due to the fact that I disagree about "Old Soul," as I find it to be one of the stronger and more emotional songs on the album, I'm giving it a 5/5 :)

Also, their first release, including Catharsis, Tring Quarry, Brave Face, and Strangers...also a 5/5. I ignored Trash Boat up until I saw they were on Warped Tour, and after seeing them live, they have all the signs of a band that is clearly going to main stage in the near future.

While I've only listened to the new album a few times, I think I prefer their debut slightly more. I just feel the hooks are catchier and everything else is just as good, but I definitely enjoy this album as well

The first thing I did today was listen to this album because so far I've loved everything Trash Boat have put out. And at this point I don't this they're even able to write a song that to me is bad.
My favourite song after only a couple listens would probably be Controlled Burn.
I could praise Tobis lyrics for days but he has always written great lyrics.
I can't wait to see them at least two times with As It Is in November. I got to see them in May at one of the first shows they played Shade at and I really think they will put on an awesome show with the other songs of the album in the mix now.

Trashboat has been one of my favorite "pop punk" bands of this time, holly shit are they amazing live and studio(seen em live twice). They do not have a single song that I don't love. They guitars and drumms are also incredible. One of the best bands out there

You should. The new single from them Bad To The Bone is a jam! one of my favorites from this summer. Sounds like early to mid 2000's pop punk and I love it.

I got into this band because of you! When you talked about “Shade” in that video you did on Beyond, I loved the sound and did some looking into them. I’m stoked you loved this album because I had a feeling it’d be a good one from just that single alone, which is something that very rarely happens with me. It sounds like my expectations were met.

You should definitely check out "Nothing I Write You..." and maybe do a throwback review for it. Catharsis and Guise Of A Mother are still two of my favorite songs of all time.

Amazing album. I was so surprised when I heard this. Holy shit. So much replay value. I've been digging undermine which I think is Trash Boat's best track and takes over Strangers as their new anthem. Love Hate React Relate was amazing as well, Inside out Rips, Controlled burn makes you headband hard, and I actually liked Old Soul... Overall no bad song in the album. I'd give it a 4 instead of 4.5 but I can see why it's a 4.5. These guys just leapfrogged above so many of their pop punk rivals.

Absolutely love these guys, I saw them at Slam Dunk Festival the other month and unfortunately they had pretty bad technical issues, however they took it in their stride and played an acoustic rendition of Wonderwall with him singing through a megaphone. It was pretty amazing
