They are nice boats but extremelly ugly both. The Tempo has probably more features than the Joysway Warrior Lite but I got this one just because I can't stand the colours and stickers of the tempo. Whoever designed the tempo is blind.

The Tempo is a great little boat for kids just starting in the hobby. I got my 10yo Son one and he loves it. The only down side is the included batteries are really bad. 2-3 hour charge for a couple of minutes run time... Throw that away and get some 1300 20c lipos they will give the boat around 30 minutes of fun time... The other major flaw I found is that spare props are really hard to get hold of here in UK.. I did manage to find one online store that stocked them but he only had about 10 left so I bought them all as the store owner said they're not something he stocks regularly. And 3rd party props don't seem to fit as the boats seems to have a non-standard thread. I could be wrong though. But my other boats take props from all sorts of manufactures. That being said, we've been out with this boat many times and not once have we broke a prop. So fingers crossed... I was going to say that the build quality is not that good, but as the boat is really cheap that's to be expected and even though the plastic quality is lacking it has not once failed or broken in anyway in the many months of having it.

You said the stock batteries were junk and to throw them out and switch to 1300mah zippys for 20-30 minute of "fun time". Your full of crap, they last just as long as stock batteries.

Swapped my stock batteries and internal connector to an xt60 lipo setup with 1300mah zippys. Boat runs for around 6 to 7 minutes at full speed, so lee ofbacup is full of crap about the 30 minute run time. Charger takes approx 35 mins at 2.6 amps to charge the zippys for 7 minutes of use.

@Martin Dalton It's no problem, pal. Yes the low voltage alarm still works. I will just add that you will need to put in 2 small screws at both ends of the battery to stop it from sliding about too much. I've uploaded pictures here, http://imgur.com/a/phq8X to show you what I mean. You dont need to drill any holes or anything as the screw holes are already there. To get the battery out you just lift up the frot end over the screw and slide it forward. And just do the opposite to put battery in..

Apparently its a slightly smaller version boat which uses less powerful batteries and is a few mph slower. A lot of reviews or listings online for sale seem to confuse the two.
