U P D A T E : The more I ride the Takayama, the more I realize what a great shape this board is! Super loose, super fast, super fun! The two clips here show me stalling to the point of no return and making it back into the pocket like no other stick... and with uncommon looseness and crankability! Visit www.cleanlinesurf.com to get yours! P R E V I O U S L Y : This is the 6'8" Scorpion. Supplied by Cleanline Surf Shop in Seaside, OR. Slight V in the tail, with full nose concave. The template is mini longboard nose which tapers to a pin. Why is this pin so loose? It is a quad. A great formula for crankability and hold in the small stuff and it does not spin out. Quite honestly, if you are not into pulling 3's and popping airs, this could be the ultimate wake surf board. As loose as you could want, with the planing of a mini tanker. What this board allows you to do is to fall back on the wake far beyond where you would ever imagine... and pull back into the sweet spot. Thus making for a more genuine surfing experience rather then just ultra critical sweet spot riding. Cleanline calls it the "Quiver Killer" and Kahunasay would have to agree. This board is fun fun fun and the nose riding abilities of this board have yet to be tapped. Kahunasay SIX shaka outta fi brah!
