Hi, what size is your metal prop

I just purchased the Vector 80 and I want to add the metal prop. Do you remember what size sleeve you used for the shaft & prop and did you sodder the sleeve onto the shaft or weld it . Thanks for any help that you may have.

Yes, it is slightly big for the stock shaft so i made a little sleeve to go on the shaft,then the prop on top will not be lose, it fits the prop good now.

thanks for the info, I already have that prop I realize as it is on my pursuit boat, I thought that might have been a little big for the stock vector 80 motor, I am going boating tomorrow, I will try it thanks

The Prop is an Octura X447. I can't remember the exact size but if you look that prop up, you will find out. :D

Hej my vector 80 only runs forward,is this normal,tried a lot of things to change it,th reverse or trim, but doesnt work. What could it be? Greetz

Benjie J, this is normal as the ESC is programmed to know go forward. To change this, the only way I know of is to buy a new esc which allows you to make it go forward and back. As I said there may be a way to do it but I'm not sure how to as I didn't really look into it.

I'm having problems with the throttle staying on. I haven't even had chance to put it in the water yet. The only way to get the motor to stop is to use the brake on the trigger for the controller/transmitter. Does anyone know how to calibrate the ESC. Unfortunately there in no info in either Manuel for the boat or radio!

there is a trim button above the steering on your remote, trim it till stop the motor :)

Mikes 1lakerfan I'm sorry to hear. it's sounds like the esc needs to be calibrated but I'm not sure how to. maybe try taking it to you local hobby shop and see if they have any ideas or just look up the solutions to the problem on Google. Let me know what happens and hope for the best!
