what batteries do you have in your boat? 27s? or 31s? and why did you go with that brand

I have the 31s. Those actually are the oem batteries for Vexus. Their customer service is really good. I had a little issue with one and they took care of it with no paperwork or anything.

That Ranger 521 has the fan feature helps with drier boxes. I'm sure you compared the drop off and determined the difference wasn't enuff to bother you. The 521 & 2080 are both excellent boats and both will get the job done on your day of fishing.

I don't have a garage big enough to fit a AVX1980. Is it alright to store the this boat under a car port? I live in Northeast.

I would think so. I know it gets colder up there than it does here in Arkansas. I would just make sure at the end of the season that the outboard is serviced and there's no water in the lower unit and whatever other measures that are normal to take in your area to winterize the boat. Here in Arkansas, mine gets used all year so basically I just make sure my lower unit has no water in it and keep it trimmed down when not in use. Thanks for watching!

I’m making double certain sure to open all my lockers up when I put her in the garage n set a fan on the deck to help keep things dry.... I felt really ignorant after a few outings I hadn’t opened my live wells, I was checking moisture in other boxes n opened live well hatch to find a ton of condensation so now I open them too so they can dry

Yeah, kinda same deal. Tidal James and Chickahominy River in VA but there are some areas where I'm in deeper water and throwing shallow. In my Tracker (w/Maxxum 70#, 45" shaft) it'll come out when a wake boat or barge go by. I hesitate because when I am in shallower water, I'll have to raise it a bit and that sucks sometimes trying to cast around the damn thing

Im running a 45. I fish a lot of shallow water and keep it pulled up pretty high a lot.

Glen Daugherity My port side rod box gets has more of a condensation type of moisture. My middle rod box has had some puddling. The only time I've seen that was the one time I drove thru the hurricane. All in all, I love my boat!

When you guys say moisture do you mean some condensation or are you talking puddles of water ? My 2014 Ranger 620 gets moisture in it’s compartments from temperature changes but I’ve gone to using DampRid in all my compartments and it’s helped a lot. Maybe we aren’t tightening our compression locks enough ?
