hey what C rating have you tested? looking to getting some lipos as i wait for delivery. stock esc 3s till she fails. thinking 2200mah 30c 3s or 3300mah 30c 3s or can i go higher C rate or even lower to 20c

Since it's a single motor I don't think you need to go higher than 30c should be fine. With higher C you'll just be adding weight for little to no increase.

Hey Dustin. Know this isn't the newest vid but going through your reviews. Anyhow, nice measurement method "bladder" amount. I use this the next time I'm cooking. :) Also, your daughter looks as excited about your flying as mine does. Kids are not too excited about dads toys.

I'm running a 120 Amp Flycolor ESC with a Leopard 3660 X2 Motor, 2650kv on Turnigy nano-tech 2650mah 6S 45~90C battery, with a 2 blade 40mmx1.6 pitch propeller. Crazy fast & stable. That much water penetration makes me think it’s the water cooling. That’s the one place water is being forced into the hull. Easy enough to test at home with air and soapy water.

Yes, but it should be pre greased from factory and shouldn't need a re grease for a while. This was first run.

That was one of the best video reviews i've seen in a really long time. I think if you had the proper filter, the Mavic would have done a better job,due the reflection of light off the water.Pretty impressed with the performance of the boat.I wonder how the video would have been with the 4s battery and lens filter.You think the water could have been blown in through the canopy from the water cooling outlet??.Kudos to your daughter,I think she should have gotten a proper introduction in the video,she did save you from going into the water quite a bit.

Pretty cool. I was thinking about your tracking problems. I would think that because you had it so high, the boat was too small an object to lock onto. Maybe you should try it with
the Mavic only 10-15 feet up, so that it can 'see' the boat better. Also, you said you were putting it in 'tripod' mode, and if that works the same on your Mavic as it worked on my Sparks (when I had them), it limits your top speed to 2.5 mph .. so your boat could definitely outrun the Mavic in tripod mode. Still, it was interesting and gave an interesting view from above. BTW, pretty disappointing "precision landing" with that Mavic 2 Pro. My new Autel Evo has precision landing, and when its coming back/down, I can see it making adjustments so that it lands right on the spot .. never more than 6 inches off. Getting to be that time of year when flying weather will be at a premium around here in NE Ohio, so we'll be hoping for at least a few good days throughout the Winter. Cheers!

@Dustin Dunnill Its a good idea to try zooming in and then using the track. They claim you can track a car or motorcycle, and both of those are way faster than that boat, so I think its just the small size its having a problem with. Oddly enough, I just posted a new video to my YouTube channel which shows the color changes here in NE Ohio, shot with my Autel Evo. Its only a 6 min. video, so check it out if you get the time. @Dustin Dunnill good. When mine leaks I don't worry about it. Also quick question, I have been having some rough winds recently about 29kmh gusts to 37kmh. Would you trust your Bebop 2 about 500m out in those conditions or would you wait for the wind to die down. I don't want to lose mine out somewhere in a forest.

I think the mavic might have locked on a wave instead of the boat, and it got super confused with all the movement and repetition of the same thing.

I reviewed the yellow version of this boat a year ago and had my buddy film it with my Autel XSP and it worked out well. The XSP doesn't have active tracking but I'm not sure it would have worked well. I tried to get my EVO to lock on to a boat and I had to be really low to do it which would make it difficult to keep up with a boat though this one was brushed and the boat was defective so I wasn't able to review it.

What? Another boat review! Can't be more than 6 months since the last one......... :D
It's a neat boat and would be even better with the ability to go astern if just for slow speed manoeuvring. It took on a LOT of water which surprises me given the precautions you took.
4S is OK in that level of "lop" but I suspect that it will be bit much when the ripples get even a little bigger especially when turning
I'd have given up with the Mavic much earlier but it was a good attempt
