You've never got a frog lure stuck on a lily pad? Wow, you're good.

I really like the Twin Troller and at first really wanted one but after a while I have had second thoughts. I want to mention I still really like the concept but I just dont think it would be good for me. I could easily see someone else loving it and having a great time with it. First off the price is 6000 with everything including the Honda 2.3hp outboard and a trailer. Thats great and all but I felt that its a little overpriced. I can buy a jon boat or other plastic boat for around 600 bucks for a 1436 which is bigger. I can get a trailer for 500 so just for the boat and a trailer its 1100. I can get a foot pedal trolling motor for 350 so thats 1450. I want a 6.5hp mud motor. Brand new that is about 200 to 300 so I am at 1750. I will add 250 for seats and additional accessories so right at 2000 total. I may mention if I looked around harder I could probably take off about 200 of that. So overall thats 2000 for a 1436 jon boat, a trailer, 6.5hp mud motor, foot pedal trolling motor, plus 200 for anything else. So that is $4000 less than the twin troller with everything. Like I said earlier I still really like the twin troller and even if it went on sale for $2500 I would get it but right now for me the Jon boat is the better way to go for me.

Glad to see you're thinking it through. Here's something to consider. The Jon boat will not give you 100% hands free, zero turn radius fishing in 6-8 inches of draft (in operation). A foot controlled trolling motor is not the same thing. Not even close. Once you get out in that Jon boat and the wind picks up, you're throwing an anchor, or going home. In a Twin Troller you're fishing hands free and the wind is not an issue.

One other thought. If you buy a Jon boat, there will be times (while out fishing) you will think to yourself, wow, I could be doing "this" if I only had a Twin Troller. If you buy the Twin Troller, you're not likely to ever say, (while out fishing) "Wow, I could have saved some money if I only had bought a Jon boat." You'll be too busy enjoying your Twin Troller.

If you can get to Lakeland, Tenoroc is the place to go. Get into an electric lake. Also, Lake Confusion is good. We did an episode there. Have a look: https://youtu.be/qet389njqQ8

2uneak........What is so hard about finding & watching videos of real Twin Troller owners. Furthermore, I already told you how much gear, cooler, tackle, anchor, anchor pole, 8 rod & reels, fishing tools, etc, I carry in my Twin Troller every time I go out. I WILL be posting a series of 3 videos on my friend & fellow Twin Troller owner's youtube channel: "Lunker012" in which I will be revealing something I invented that makes the Twin Troller even better. What is it? Just keep an eye on Lunker012 youtube channel. Sub & click the notifications bell. I have already collaborated with Gerry, and he is waiting for me to send him the footage as soon as I'm done, which WILL be within the next 2 weeks. And I can confidently say that "my little invention" is a game changer, making an already awesome boat into an even better one. Most Twin Troller owners will want to make themselves one, as I will be giving the simple instructions on how to make it for their own boat. With NO drilling or fasteners whatsoever into the hull of the boat. I'm about to blow people's minds.......you mark my word. Yes, it is THAT good...........

OK, next boat, I'll bite the bait for this one. In the meantime, I'll keep looking for videos of people who are actually using them with all the gear necessary for a full day of fishing.

2uneak.......I tell ya what.......I bought my Twin Troller nearly 2 years ago. I don't make videos, but I'm happy to email you pix of how my Twin Troller is rigged. I actually carry 8 baitcaster reel/rod combo's with rods ranging from 7 feet to 7.5 feet long, that's 4 in each side tray, and I can still stand on either side tray, yet the bottoms of my shoes don't even touch my rods or damage them in any way. I also carry a day-box that contains a 1-gallon gas can for my 3.5hp Tohatsu outboard on my Twin Troller, plus other items such as tools, funnel, rain poncho, spare drive pins for the outboard prop, etc. Then I also carry a decent sized cooler, bilge pump, 10 lb mushroom anchor & rope, plus my tackle box. I also use the custom made 14 gallon live well that is made special for the Twin Troller. In each side tray in addition to all 8 rods, I also have other items such as weighing scales & fish ruler called "the Hawg Trough", fish grippers, fishing pliers, etc. I can carry ALL of the above in this boat, and still have plenty of room to sit, stand, spin around, and fish effectively & comfortably. Heck, I even have a fairly large umbrella. I also have tons of pix of the monster trophy bass that I've caught while fishing in my Twin Troller. Happy to email pix of everything, you just say the word. If you take a moment to search youtube, you will see quite a few Twin Troller owners & how they set up theirs in all sorts of different ways. You won't find a more dedicated trophy bass fisherman than I am, and I can honestly say........of all the boats I've owned, including 2 different bass boats over the years ( got pix of those too).......the Twin Troller is hands down, dollar for dollar, the best investment I ever made in any fishing boat. It is THAT good.

i like the boat an everything it the price of the boat $3.500 standard then the price shoots all the way up close to $6.000 . i mean if i had the money to throw at one i would get one in a heart beat .. but ill stick to my pelican bass raider for now :) not bad mouthing the boat just alittle high in price. i got my pelican for 500 bucks batts fish finder came with two seats i upgraded them . so far i got less then 1200 in it
but the twin is nice :0

Patrick Dolan.......How old are you? Twelve? I am by no means "wealthy". $3,500 is NOT that much money for a boat that performs & lasts a lifetime like the Twin Troller, which is sold factory direct ONLY, to cut down the cost of retail mark-up. I bought my Twin Troller nearly 2 years ago, and after owning several boats, including 2 bass boats over the years, the twin pedals & hidden/protected motors of the Twin Troller are leaps & bounds superior to any conventional foot-controlled trolling motor. They don't even operate the same way. And you have NO idea what you're talking about, because ALL of those other plastic pontoon boats are cheap plastic, that are 2 pieces with a seam all the way around. That seam WILL leak in a short amount of time, and the plastic cracks very easily, plus it WILL begin to dry rot with time. I know, because I've seen many of them deteriorate within several years. The Twin Troller is a single piece, seamless roto-molded hull using "Nova Chemicals Surpass Resin" that never becomes brittle & never dry rots. Back in 2004, I bought a brand new G3 bass boat, model HP ( "HP" stands for "high performance" ) 170 ( 17 foot ) with Yamaha 115 outboard & stainless performance prop. It was a great boat, it was fast, and I owned it for 7 years before selling it. I can honestly say, dollar for dollar, the Twin Troller is the best value & investment I ever made in a fishing boat. I challenge you to find a single verified Twin Troller owner who says "they regret buying it". Good luck. Because IN THE REAL WORLD, you get what you pay for.......if you wanna be cheap, you will get cheap, that is, junk that doesn't last very long. The Twin Troller WILL out-last 10 Pelican plastic boats made out of the same plastic used to make milk jugs........so GET A CLUE. ( Although I DO agree that high-end kayaks like the Hobie Pro Angler are severely over-priced. They actually cost MORE than the Twin Troller, and don't even have a motor of any kind.)

Once you've stopped laughing, look a little closer. The Twin Troller has 2 trolling motors recessed in the hull which gives it 100% variable speed, 100% hands free, 100% ZERO TURN RADIUS, fishing in 6-8 inches of water. The pelican.... does not. There is no boat like a Twin Troller. When you get a chance, shoot a video of you hitting your Pelican with a hammer. We've been wanting to see someone do this. Plastic is used to make styrofoam cups, and plastic is used to make kevlar bullet proof vests. The pelican is more like the former, and the Twin Troller is more like the latter.
Patrick Dolan
Patrick Dolan - 6 years ago
Lmao I'm pretty sure you can hands free with the pelican. You know trolling motors have foot pedals right? Lol yea it might be a nice boat but it's not worth 3k more. Nothing on that damn 3500 model is worth 3k more than the pelican. Just another one of them companies who charge outrageous prices to just cater to the financially wealthier people. Same with Hobie. Waste of money. There are much cheaper just as good options out there. If you think molded plastic is worth 3500 you're crazy. I've had my pelican for the good part of a decade and I catch alot of fish.

The TT is far superior in construction. That is the main reason for the price difference. Let's be fair, though. The $6000 figure you gave includes a trailer and an outboard Honda. Superior construction and hands free fishing is a big deal and worth every penny.

Thanks for the link Alec. I love for people to see other boats. That way they can see why the Twin Troller X10 is the World's Best Fishing Boat. The ghenoe is a neat boat but I don't think I'd call it unflappable. It can't compare to a Twin Troller when it comes to fishing.

Thanks for the kind words Elena. I'm sure you're busy so I'll be brief. This is not a commercial. It is a user review. I'm using the boat. Gee, what a concept. If you'd take the time to search "Twin Toller" anywhere on the net including Youtube you'd see plenty of "commercials" for the "Twin Troller"

worst commercial i've ever seen for a boat. almost 15 minutes of raving about a boat you never get to see. he might as well filmed this in his back yard
