What a daunting thing it is to sail through the night, alone with just your thoughts and the sea around you. Kind of seems scary to me and would rather have a few crew members to spell my shifts. The Channel Islands are so very obvious from the coastal highway but so mysterious to those who will most likely never see what you have. So many elephant seals and seemingly ignorant to your closeness. Mother Nature and her infamous ways! So enjoy your video's sir.

That brings back some 40+ year old memories! When I was about 10 my dad took me along on a trip to San Miguel, he was guiding a film maker and I got to tag along. We hiked all over the island, the interior was pretty spectacular.

San Miguel was home to the giants, they hid from the giant hunters on all the channel islands.
many bones were found on the islands. The Smithsonian has all the bones which they deny, but I saw some first hand in the sixties.
The skeleton was 28 feet long.
