Thanks, John, for the positive comment. Fortunately, Tanzania is well south of Somalia so we should be safe. We personally know people, and their horror stories, who were abducted and held for ransom in the Philippines. We are not about to take chances. It was only in the past year we were running into South African cruisers who have been to Tanzania and spoke highly of the place. This is the land of "Dr. Livingston, I presume?" as most of the early British explorers based in Zanzibar, just off the African coast. We have cruising friends who have passed us up and are there now. It all looks good. I don't need to be a "Captain Phillips"! Could be an interesting video though....I will keep the GoPro in my pocket.
