You mentioned some areas did not allow anchoring. Were there size restrictions on the mooring balls? I have a 60ft, 40,000 kilo boat. Most mooring balls I've come across are limited to 45-50 ft.

Thanks, a very helpful and interesting series. Always good to learn from others who have done similar path to what we are planning. Our adventure starts next October from the BVIs working our way down the Caribbean chain, across to Panama, before heading back to Oz.
