For me it was about trying to keep out of their way as I had to motor a Hawk 20 very precariously through the fleet on my way back to Emsworth. Nice to know that most of the Patrol Boat Crews had no idea that an overtaking vessel has to keep clear regardless of motor or sail. They got very shouty, even though I was looking well ahead for the gap in the fleet.
Just for the record HISC don’t own the rights to central harbour area. Racers may do well to remember to share on water areas. Perhaps a tactic they could do well to remember.....
