Great information ill try it out when I go back out with the cat. what would be nice is explaining rigging and positions of sheeting sails and jib what hole to use when. thanks

With the spinnaker up in a high wind only. 1 - because the apparent wind comes so far forward at that speed and 2 - to act as a backstay and protect the mast.

I'd like to see your 2-sail (jib/main) downwind technique. No spinnaker.
